Battlefield-Ussher’s Creek-and Whirlpool – Legends of The Niagara

Battlefield was created by Doug Carrick….Ussher’s Creek was a Thomas McBroom design and of course everyone is familiar with the venerable Stanley Thompson who designed Whirlpool . 3 masterpieces all under the management of the Niagara Parks Commission.
Our visit this year noted extraordinarily perfect turf and greens conditions….a tribute to the groundskeepers who care for and so beautifully maintain these wonderful properties.
In addition to the exceptional golf courses, Legends of The Niagara boasts one of North America’s best golf teaching facilities. Both Doug Carrick and Tom McBroom had a hand in the design of this world class practice site. This facility is known internationally as The Legends Golf Academy.
Highly regarded teaching professionals are prepared to teach all levels of skill from the raw beginner to single digit handicap players and tour players. Package prices for coaching includes a season pass to the Academy which includes range balls, use of all the practice facilities and launch monitors. In addition to the fabulous golf courses and playing conditions, your visit must include a meal or two at the stunning clubhouse at The Legends’ location.
